 Brick walls and concrete surfaces are very prone to growth of organic substances like moss, algae and fungi due to its porosity and atmospheric moisture.
nanoCotz™ Stone is a unique nanotechnology coating that provides a non-stick protective barrier on most porous stone or concrete surfaces. This invisible water-based coating can be sprayed onto the concrete or stone surface to provide an invisible hydrophobic protection to repel water, dirt and grease, providing an easy to clean surface. Dirty water and other contaminants cannot penetrate the protected surface and dirt particles are easily washed off by rain or when rinsed with water.
nanoCotz™ Stone contains nano-particles that adhere directly onto the substrate molecules. This durable coating cannot be removed by water, normal washing agent or with high pressure equipment. nanoCotz™ Stone is UV and weather resistant and suitable for both internal and external areas.

How does nanoCotz™ Stone work? |
|
|
|
Due to the hydrophobic treatment effect of nanoCotz™ Stone, dirt particles cannot penetrate the matrix of the surface. Dirt particles are picked up by the water droplets as it is being wash off from the treated surface by rain or when rinsed with water. The treated surface is protected from driving rain because of the water-repelling properties, stops salt efflorescence and prevents micro cracks. Moss and algae formation cannot develop and red wine and urine cannot penetrate the treated surface. nanoCotz™ Stone is resistant to friction, UV-steady and weather resistant.

How to apply nanoCotz™ Stone? |
|
|
|
No special equipment is required to apply nanoCotz™ Stone. Simply follow the instructions below:
1) Before aplication, ensure the surface is thoroughly clean, dry
and grease-free. High pressure water jet or steam cleaned
are recommended for older surfaces.
2) Avoid applying in wet or cold weather. Shake well before use,
spray nanoCotz™ Stone onto the surface. For very porous
surface, repeat procedure if necessary. Allow 2-5 minutes
between each coat.
3) For application on larger surfaces, apply nanoCotz™ Stone
in square meter sections.
4) Full optimal protective effect can be reached after 24 hours.
